ROCK TAPE

Posted on October 11, 2017 Written by Kew Foot Clinic

What is Rock Tape?

Rock Tape is a premium brand of Kinesiology tape.  Rock Tape is now being used by a variety of health professionals to prevent and treat injuries and decrease pain.

How does Rock Tape work?

When the tape is applied with the correct amount of tension to the skin it creates wrinkles in the skin.  This lifts the skin away from the muscle and fascia below creating a decompressive effect.

How can Rock Tape benefit you?

When the tape is correctly applied it can have multiple benefits.

  • Neurological Effect.

Assists to decrease pain by changing how your body perceives pain and improves the body’s awareness (Proprioception).

  • Mechanical Effect.

Provides functional support while allowing full range of movement.

  • Fluid Effect.

Assists to reduce swelling and bruising.

We sell authentic Rock Tape at a competitive price.  Be aware that there are many fakes for sale on a variety of websites.

Rock Tape is available at Kew Foot Clinic
