Hyperhidrosis is a condition characterized by abnormally increased sweating or perspiration, generally in excess of what the body requires for regulation of body temperature. Feet with this condition often have a bad odour. Ways to improve the problem are:
- Alternate footwear each day and air the other pair out either in the sun or over a heater vent. This will kill off any fungal or bacteria inside the shoes.
- Wear moisture wicking socks.
- Put foot deodorant sprays or powder inside the shoe and onto the feet.
- Wash feet with medicated soap.
